Middlebrook Lion's Link

August 28, 2026

MIddlebrook Families,

What a wonderful first two days we have had at Middlebrook Elementary! It has been so exciting to welcome our students back into the building and see our hallways filled with smiles, laughter, and the energy that makes our school such a special place.

Our students are settling into their classrooms, getting to know their teachers and classmates, and beginning to establish the routines that will help make this a successful school year. Our teachers and staff have worked incredibly hard to create welcoming, engaging classrooms where every child feels safe, supported, and ready to learn.

The beginning of a school year is always filled with excitement and a few butterflies, too! We know that new routines, new teachers, new classmates, and longer days can be a lot for our children. Thank you for your patience and partnership as everyone settles into the rhythm of the school year.

We are so grateful for the opportunity to work alongside our families to support our students. A strong school community is built on partnership, communication, and a shared commitment to helping every child feel successful. We look forward to all of the learning, growth, friendships, and special moments that lie ahead!

Thank you for trusting us with your children and for being such an important part of the Middlebrook community. We are off to a fantastic start, and we can't wait to see what this school year brings!

Here’s to a wonderful year ahead!

Warmly,

Mrs. Picano, Principal

Ms. Molloy, Assistant Principal

First Day Smiles with Eli

What better way to welcome our students back to school than with a familiar friend? Eli, our school mascot, was there bright and early to greet students as they stepped off the buses! After welcoming everyone, Eli made his way through the halls, spreading smiles, high-fives, and plenty of “hellos” as students settled into their first morning of the new school year.

It was the perfect way to start a wonderful year together. We’re so happy to have our students back! 💙
