Credit Alert Reports
As we approach the end of the semester, we publish Credit Alert Reports for students whose credit may be in jeopardy. These reports are a key indicator that a student must actively engage in the classroom learning in order to be successful.
Students and parents are encouraged to contact each teacher of the courses in which a credit alert was created to create a plan for success.
Paper copies of the reports will be sent home with students on Monday Dec. 18. We will also email copies to all Parents and students. In addition, Parents can also access a digital copy by logging into Aspen through the link on our website and viewing the document.
Final Culminating and Exam Dates
Please be aware of the dates for the Semester 1 Final Culminating Activities and Exams (FCA):
- Friday, January 26: Period 1 FCA
- Monday, January 29: Period 2 FCA
- Tuesday, January 30: Period 3 FCA
- Wednesday, January 31: Period 4 FCA
More information to follow in January regarding these assessments.
It is important that all students attend these important assessments.
School Council
Eastside Secondary School has an active School Council that consists of parents, staff, students, and community members. Meetings are held regularly. The team works together as an advisory group to support excellent programming and to foster ongoing school improvement.
If you are interested, please join us at 5:30 on January 15th in the library. We're going to have pizza for all who attend!
Future meetings will be March 25 and May 27, 2024.
