Update from NURSE 👩‍⚕️ Update from NURSE 👩‍⚕️

Welcome back! The new year is off to a great start. If your student will be absent, please let me know by calling the attendance line or emailing me the reason for the absence and the date of the absence. To be excused, they must have a doctor's note. Please do not send your child into school sick. They need to be fever free without any fever reducing medicine, and vomit/diarrhea free for 24 hours before they can return to school. A fever is considered 100.4 and above. For your child’s safety, please complete all medical forms, and bring in medication as soon as possible. Just as a reminder, all medication needs to be brought in by an adult and given directly to me. Your child can not bring medication into school. All forms expire at the end of the school year, and have to be completed and updated yearly. I will be here for Back To School Night if you want to bring in the necessary forms and medication then. Forms were sent home at the end of last year, and can also be found on the Lumberton website under the family tab-forms for families/medical. If you need a hard copy sent home with your child, just let me know. If there is any changes with your child's health or medication throughout the year, please let me know.

Thank you!
