Update: Schools New to the National K12 Zones Will Gain Access Starting June 9
Some students can explore now โ others will need to wait just a little longer.
If your school already had access to the K12 National Zones, your students can continue using the platform as usual. But if your school is opting in this summer, student access has been delayed until (hopefully) Monday, June 9.
๐ Important: Students age 12 and under still cannot enter the National Zones without verified parental consent โ even if their school already has access.
To avoid login issues, please help families complete the quick consent process now.

๐ซ Help Us Build the Ultimate Back-to-School Zone Template!
Weโre designing a customizable Back-to-School Zone that schools can use at the start of the year โ and we want your input!
This template will be fully editable and easy to personalize for your school community. Whether youโre welcoming students, introducing staff, or showcasing key programs, this Zone can serve as your schoolโs virtual home base during those first important weeks.
๐ก What would you want to include?
-
A welcome video from your ED or school leader?
-
A spotlight on clubs and extracurriculars?
-
Interactive games or photo booths?
-
Key dates and orientation info?
-
A โMeet the Staffโ gallery?
๐ Share your ideas on our collaborative Padlet below!
Whether it's a feature you've already used or something you've been dreaming of, we want to hear it.
๐ Instant Classroom Zones Are Almost Here!
Weโre putting the final touches on the new โCreate Your Own Zoneโ feature.
We had hoped to roll out instant Classroom Zones this week โ but we're holding off just a bit longer to make sure everything is smooth, simple, and ready for you to use with confidence.
๐ฏ Our new target launch date is next Wednesday, and weโll include a full update, how-to video, and step-by-step guide in next weekโs newsletter.
In the meantime, you can still request a Classroom Zone the traditional way โ and if you're ready to start designing, donโt miss Zone Design 101 every Wednesday (alternating between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM CST), or watch the full training at your convenience.
