Avoiding the Summer Slide: Grades K-4
A Message From Principal Abeal
Dear West Belmar Parents,
It is hard to believe that the 2024-25 school year is coming to a close. I want to take this opportunity to congratulate the bear cubs for a tremendous year of academic, social and physical growth, due to all of the hard work.
The week of June 9th – 23th will be the last days of school with early dismissal days on the 11th, 12th and 13th with a 1:05 dismissal. Our Bear Cubs Award ceremony will be held on Friday, the 13th at 10:00 AM. Please remember class placement and classroom assignment will be sent home during the latter part of August.
The district will have is Summer Knights Academy beginning on June 23rd and running through July 17th. The program will take place at Wall Intermediate School, Monday - Thursday from 9:30 am - 1:30 pm. This is a great summer opportunity for our students.
The district will host virtual summer parent trainings. All sessions will be from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM via Zoom and presented by Nicole Musto, Rutgers clinician. Information regarding the trainings will be coming from the district.
I wish everyone a summer filled with relaxation, family fun and enjoyment.
Most sincerely,
Anthony
