Dismissal Change: September 17th
Dear Monroe Families,
Thank you for your continued patience and for sharing thoughtful feedback about our dismissal process. Your input has helped us identify ways to make dismissal safer, clearer, and more efficient for everyone.
We are making one final adjustment beginning Thursday, September 17 that we believe will help reduce congestion and confusion:
All walkers and bikers will now exit through Door 14 at the front of the building. Please see the updated dismissal map for this change.
I also wanted to reassure families that it is on the radar of our buildings and grounds crew to move the bike racks to the front of the building. They are working hard to make this happen as soon as possible.
Thank you again for your flexibility, partnership, and feedback as we continue working to make dismissal as smooth and safe as possible for our Mustangs!
With appreciation,
Mollie
Arrival and Dismissal Overview
Arrival: 7:35–7:50 a.m.
- All students enter through Door 1.
- Buses unload on Center Street and in the parking lot.
- No student drop-off in the parking lot. Please use the lot only if you have a meeting or are volunteering during the school day.
- No parking in the parking lot.
- Student car pick-up is at Door 1 on Monroe Avenue. Please stay in your vehicle and pull forward directly behind the car in front of you.

Brief Notes
- SeeSaw: If you have not yet connected to your studnet's SeeSaw class, please email your child's teacher so that they can send you a direct link.
- Our new Mustang merchandise store is OPEN! Please place your orders by Sept. 18th using the following link: https://monroespiritstore.itemorder.com/shop/home/
- Breakfast and Lunches continue to be free. If you'd like a daily snack for your child provided by the school, please pay through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. We just learned that we do not pay for snack through the new Hub as we had previously thought.
- All parent volunteers will need an annual background check to volunteer during the school day or attend field trips. Call the office for more information.
- We will hold our 2nd practice Evacuation Drill (also known as a fire Drill) tomorrow (Friday, Sept. 18th). I won't always share an update on evacuation drills, but since it is so early I certainly wanted it on your radar.
