Hello, Mustang Families!!!
We hope you are enjoying Labor Day and are looking forward to a four day school week!
We have been asked to let you know that there is no parking on Whippoorwill Drive, and it is marked as such for school drop off and pick up hours.
We will start our ATLAS Interim testing this week! We are sharing this with students at school, but please reinforce that these "interim" assessments are an assessment for end of grade level content, so students should NOT know everything on the test yet. We do not want them to be stressed or worried if the tests are hard - most of the content has not yet been taught, so it is unlikely that they will know it. The data that we will get from these assessments will show us what students do and do not already know and help us guide instruction to meet their needs. The interim assessments are more of an instructional tool than the "summative" assessments that are given at the end of the year. We will give interim assessments during students' regular class periods on the following dates, and PLEASE make sure your child is in attendance if at all possible:
September 3 - Math
September 4 - Science
September 9 - Reading
September 10 - Writing
We also wanted to make you aware that Student Council and Student Ambassador applications are out and due September 5 if your child is interested. This information has been shared on the announcements daily, so all students should already be aware.

If you are interested in attending FPS Athletic Events, here is a link where you can purchase a pass for your student to attend all FPS games, but you do have to purchase it at the beginning of the year. To do so, you will need to download the go fan app . You can purchase within the app. It is $7.25 total for all year for a student pass. It covers ALL woodland/Ramay/FHS games all sports.
