📣 Weekly Announcements & Reminders 💙

What a wonderful Week of Prayer we had last week at BAS! We were truly blessed by the messages shared by Pastor Joshua Aguilar, and it was a meaningful time for our students and staff to pause, reflect, and grow in their faith. Thank you to everyone who helped make the week special.

We also concluded Parent/Teacher Conferences, and it was great connecting with so many families. These conversations are an important part of supporting student growth and success. If you were unable to attend your conference, please feel free to reach out to your student’s teacher if you would still like to connect.

Looking ahead to this week, we are excited for Field Day on Friday morning! Students should come dressed in their team color shirts and ready for a fun morning of activities. Please note that school will dismiss at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, and there will be no after-school care available that afternoon. Please plan to pick up your student at noon.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support as we finish the year strong!

“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful.”

~ Hebrews 10:23

Field Day Information

On Friday, April 3, 2026 is Field Day at BAS! We have a bunch of fun activities planned for the day and we hope you encourage your child(ren) to participate in the planned events with a great attitude! This will be counted as a school day and attendance will be taken. If your child cannot be at Field Day please let Mrs. Suess know ASAP so we can adjust the teams accordingly (we want to try and keep them as even as possible)! Half of the activities will be held outside and the other half in our gymnasium.

Field Day will be a ½ day event, starting in the morning with individual activities ending with team challenges. The individual events are: broad jump, 40 yard dash, chicken throw, and the obstacle course. The team events are: 3-legged race, obstacle course, shuttle run, and the sponge race. Please be aware that your child may get wet due to activities planned so please plan accordingly! The students are assigned to a team and need to wear their team’s color of t-shirt! This will help us distinguish between the teams. Also, please make sure your child(ren) is(are) dressed in Physical Education type clothes and shoes! If your child(ren) needs sunscreen please send some to school along with a water bottle! And since they might get a little wet by the end of the day, feel free to send a change of clothes!

We look forward to a fun day!

Blessings,

BAS Staff

You should've gotten a letter with team rosters and t-shirt color needed!
