RISLA's College Planning Center and RIDE are hosting three virtual college planning sessions next week. Please invite your students to attend these free, convenient sessions. We hope this will help to reach students who may or may not be able to attend a college planning session on-site at your school. Thanks for helping us to spread the word.

Common App Tips: Tuesday, October 3rd (4 PM)

Recommended Audience: High School Seniors

This session will provide students with tips and important reminders about completing the Common Application to help them put their best foot forward with their college applications. Free registration.

College Admissions: Wednesday, October 4th (4 PM)

Recommended Audience: High School Juniors & Seniors

This session will review with students what admissions officers look for when reviewing students for acceptance. Topics such as GPAs, SATs, Sports, Clubs, Volunteerism, and more will be discussed. Free registration.

Financial Aid 101: Thursday, October 5th (4 PM)

Recommended for all college-bound students

This session will help address financial aid concerns and prepare you for the financial aid process. Education costs are soaring, and college affordability is now a significant concern for many families. We want to help lessen the confusion and frustration students and parents experience when seeking financial aid. Free registration.

⮚ Should you feel your family does not qualify for free or reduced meals, please list child’s name on step 1, write “waive process” on Step 3, and sign/date Step 4 of application and return to the main office or crew teacher.
