Our picture retake day is on Wednesday, October 2nd from 9:30-11:30 am in the library.

Navigating school pictures is as easy as 1,2,3:

• 1. Attend picture day during the hours of 9:30 am -11:30 am to have your student(s) picture taken.
• 2. After picture day, you will be emailed a link to your student's secure online gallery.
• 3. Complete your picture order online.

• On behalf of the PTO, we would like to thank ALL students and families for participating in our Milwaukee Pretzel and Butter Braid fundraisers! We are excited to have our raffle of prizes soon. PTO will also be providing an all school ice cream party to show our appreciation in the coming months. Please mark your calendars for Wednesday, October 23, 2024. This will be our fundraiser distribution day. It will be the drive thru style as in years past, immediately following school. More information to follow.

• Monthly PTO Meeting, Monday, October 7th @6pm. Join us in person or email jmspto@sdoj.org to request the meeting link.

• Scholastic Book Fair is October 14-18th. Please watch for a sign up genius to help fill times so our students and staff can shop the book fair.

• First Dine Night of the school year will be held Wednesday, October 16th from 6-9pm at Jersey Mike’s Johnson Creek, 485 Wright Rd. (strip mall with Starbucks/Qdoba/AT&T). This location is brand new and gives back 50% to PTO. Please consider stopping and supporting this business and our PTO. We are thrilled to partner with Jersey Mike’s! Jefferson Middle School Drama Club auditions for Frozen Jr. will take place on October 15th or 16th from 3:20pm - 4:30pm in the Choir Room. Students who are interested in being in the play should choose ONE of the dates. All students who audition receive a part in the play! Audition packets can be found in the pamphlet rack outside of the office. Please read the audition packet carefully and be sure to get a parent signature. The form in the audition packet needs to be brought to the audition. Only students who are interested in a speaking or singing role will need to sing a solo at the audition. All students will learn a short dance and sing in a large group together. If you have any questions about Drama Club, please reach out to Mrs. Dresdow or Mrs. Perkins for more information. Break a leg!

To pay general registration, course, school, and optional (athletic, band, parking etc.) fees, as well as

outstanding balances, you may either pay online or via cash/check. The Balance tab in the Parent portal will show you any outstanding fee balances you may have and/or any available meal balance. Pay Fees Online: Click the “eFunds for schools” button within the balance tab in your PowerSchool Parent portal, or click on the eFunds icon. This will direct you to eFunds, the District’s online payment system, to securely and easily pay student fees online.

⭐Please note: the registration portal and e-Funds are not linked and have different login accounts.

Meal prices and payment options can be found on the Food Service site here. As noted above, you can see your current meal balance in the Balance tab in your PowerSchool Parent portal. To deposit lunch money online click here or click on the MySchoolBucks icon. Note:

New users must first register to establish a username and password. Your Family Number is your home phone (including area code and dashes: xxx-xxx-xxxx). Once registered, you can add funds for each child in your family. Deposit Lunch Money Via Cash/Check: If you choose to bring money to school personally or send it with your student, please put it in an envelope clearly marked with your student's first and last name, school name and the amount enclosed. Turn in prepaid deposits to the cafeteria cashier(s) or school office.
