Mid-June 2026
Message from Mrs. Antoniello
As we wrap up another fantastic school year, we want to take a moment to celebrate the many special memories we made together during the last few weeks of school. The excitement was contagious as our 5th grade students participated in friendly tug-of-war contests, showing great teamwork, determination, and school spirit. We also proudly celebrated our 5th grade graduates during their graduation ceremonies. It was a memorable occasion as we recognized their accomplishments and wished them success as they prepare for the intermediate school.
Classrooms were filled with laughter and joy during end-of-year parties, giving students a chance to celebrate their hard work and achievements with friends and teachers. One of the highlights was our school-wide sing-along, where students and staff came together to share music, smiles, and a wonderful sense of community.
Please be sure to see the link for our Summer Activities Presentation. This presentation includes information about summer reading and math practice opportunities for students. It is so important for students to continue practicing their skills over the summer months so they are prepared and confident when they return in the fall. Report Cards are available in Genesis. As a reminder, please print out your child's report cards in June if you need it for sports, as there is a period of time that Genesis is not available over the summer.
As we reflect on this school year, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to our hardworking teachers and staff for a truly fabulous year. Their dedication, passion, and commitment to our students make our school a special place to learn and grow.
I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to our Old Mill Home and School for all they do throughout the year. They consistently go above and beyond to support our students, staff, and school community. From organizing events to providing countless opportunities and resources, their generosity and dedication make a tremendous difference. We couldn't be more grateful for their partnership.
Finally, thank you to our families for your ongoing support, encouragement, and involvement throughout the year. Your collaboration helps create a strong school community and contributes greatly to our students' success. We wish all of our families a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable summer!

WTPS Appoints Dr. David Bleakley as New Superintendent of Schools
As you are aware, Dr. Handerhan announced back in the fall that she will be retiring at the end of this school year. Since then, the Wall Township Board of Education has been actively engaged in the search for a new Superintendent of Schools. At last night’s Board of Education Meeting, the Board of Education appointed Dr. David Bleakley as the next WTPS Superintendent of Schools, effective July 1, 2026. Dr. Bleakley brings with him over 20 years of educational experience, and the Board of Education is thrilled to welcome him to the District.
