Our athletes of the week are RAISING THE BAR!

Ethan has been going above and beyond his team captain duties. Chioma has won 5 out of her past 6 sets as a freshman on Varsity. Jazmine helped lead the team to victory against Chino and Diamond Ranch with 18 digs & 5 aces. Peyton soared this week on Brahma golf with her low scores! #brahmabuilt

Congratulations to Our Brahma golf team for taking 3rd this weekend in the Chappy Wheeler tournament in Rancho Mirage. Brahmas played through the rain on Friday. On Saturday, they played 21 holes of golf.

Great job athletes! #brahmabuilt

September 10, three Brahmas competed at a USA Wrestling sanctioned tournament. Two of our wrestlers placed 3rd in their weight classes respectively.

Friday, September 16 - Last Day To Drop A Class

• The last day to drop a class without it showing on your transcript is Friday, September 16. If you drop a class after this deadline, it will show as a WP if you are passing or as an “F” if you are not passing the class on the date you drop. If you have questions or need guidance on whether or not you should drop a class, please speak to your GLC before the deadline.

Dress Code Reminder

• Dress Code Reminder…Hey Brahmas! Yes, it is hot outside, but the dress code is still in effect. No non-DBHS hats or beanies allowed on campus. The writing or graphics on all clothing must be appropriate and no crop tops, see-through tops, halter, or strapless shirts allowed. Violation of dress code will earn you an hour of SWAP, so please be mindful with your outfit choices. Questions or unsure if something violates the dress code? Talk to your GLC beforehand to get some guidance.

College Night is this week, Thursday, September 15, 2022!

Walnut Valley Unified School District is having their annual college fair hosted by the college and career center! It will take place on September 15, 2022 from 6:00-8:30 PM and there will be a guest speaker along with lots of college representatives from different schools! Special thanks to our Career Counselor Ms. Luz Cabada for coordinating the event!

Thanks to advisor An Tran and our PRINTED WORKS program for last week's workshop! PRINTED WORKS is a club where students learn how to produce and market all sorts of printed products using various materials.

New members had the chance to work hands-on with machines and software. Thanks to the efforts of our Leads and Mentors, students got the chance to experience what it was like to be a part of Printed Works.

Walnut Valley Unified School District has moved to ParentSquare!

We are excited to let you know that starting the 2022-2023 school year, ParentSquare will be replacing Blackboard Connect as the new district-wide communication platform. ParentSquare, will allow Diamond Bar High to unify all parent communication from the district, schools, classrooms, and school activity groups under one umbrella.

With ParentSquare you’ll be able to

• Receive all school and classroom communication via email, text or app
• View and download photos
• View the school and available classroom calendars

It is our hope that WVUSD's partnership with ParentSquare will enable a stronger dialogue between school & home. We also hope it will help empower everyone within the school community to stay connected and informed.

While ParentSquare can send messages through both email and text messages, we believe the best experience will be through the phone/tablet app which you can download by the links below.
