Mother Nature tried to fool us with Hurricane Florence and it was a hard decision but our host, Greenville Splash Masters, stayed positive and after careful and diligent work with many governing bodies decided to continue with our 4th annual charity swim. Well, it turned out to be the right choice and the swimmers and supporters ended up having another beautiful Lake Jocassee morning. Our MC and Executive Director, Steven Scott, kept his speech short (for the first time) and was definitely outshined by Meghan Malone who wowed us by singing a beautiful acapella version of the National Anthem. The first 1.2 Mile swim was off at 8:30am followed by the 2.4 Mile swim at 9:00am. Everyone had fun and once again the water was warm and crystal clear.

As we all know, our charity open water swim can only be successful with the help and donations of the many volunteers, swimmers and companies that believe in our wonderful cause helping children learn to swim. A big shout out to all of you and thanks for all your support!!!
