🔔 Weekly Attendance Review - Goal is 95% 🔔
📢 Attendance Matters, Mountain Lion Families! 🦁
We need your help in ensuring that our students are in school every day! Last week, our campus attendance rate was 90%, but our goal is 95% or higher.
Every day of learning is important — when students miss school, they miss valuable instruction, practice, and connection time that can’t be replaced. Attendance also impacts our campus funding, which directly supports classroom resources, programs, and staff that benefit all students.
Please help us by making daily attendance a priority. Together, we can reach our goal and keep our Mountain Lions learning, growing, and thriving every day! 💛
Perfect Attendance Challenge
We want to encourage every student to be at school every day! Classes are now working together to earn letters toward the phrase “Perfect Attendance.” Each day the whole class is present, they earn a new letter. Once the class completes the phrase, they unlock a fun celebration!

School-Wide Homework Initiative – Information for Families - Effective January 7
School-Wide Homework Initiative – Information for Families
At Moye Elementary, we are launching a school-wide homework plan designed to support student learning in a consistent and meaningful way. This plan is aligned for Grades K–2 and Grades 3–5and is based on what our student data shows about skills students need to strengthen.
Why This Matters
Homework will focus on essential skills taught in class
Assignments will be age-appropriate and consistent across grade levels
The goal is to reinforce learning and build strong habits at home
How Families Can Help
Family support is key to student success. We ask that families:
Make sure homework is completed regularly
Monitor student work and online learning programs
Encourage effort and positive learning habits
Reach out to teachers with questions or concerns
Use of Student Devices
Some students will receive a school-issued device to use at home as part of this homework plan. These devices are learning tools and must be:
Used only for school-related activities
Handled with care and kept in a safe place
Charged nightly and brought to school as needed
Parents play an important role in helping students use devices responsibly and appropriately.
Thank you for your partnership and support as we work together to strengthen learning for all Moye students.
