Blue Hole Primary’s **ONLY fundraiser of the year** is here—and it’s powered by reading, heart, and community.

Our annual Read-A-Thon brings together 615 young learners and their families to raise critical funds that support the 2026–2027 school year. Because of you, we’ve added playground shade structures, upgraded classroom technology, funded field trips and in-school productions, refreshed our Literacy Library to align with Texas’ new phonics standards, and celebrated our incredible teachers and staff in meaningful ways. None of that happens without this week.

This year, we’re aiming high with a **$60,000 goal** to expand grade-level and classroom libraries and continue funding the extras that make BHP exceptional—arts programming, student experiences, and staff appreciation.

And we’re dreaming even bigger.

Our major initiative is the creation of a Nature Trail—an outdoor space designed for movement, exploration, connection, and everyday learning. It will be a place for brain breaks, quiet walks, joyful conversations, and the small moments that build confidence and belonging across our campus.

Read-A-Thon sparks literacy, fuels opportunity, and strengthens our school community. Every gift—large or small—makes a difference.
