Parents & Guardians of Current 8th Grade Students,

Welcome to Monticello High School, home of the Class of 2029! While graduation may feel far off, we are excited to begin preparations for a meaningful and successful high school experience that culminates in a celebratory graduation ceremony in June of 2029. As we plan for the 2025-26 school year, we look forward to the opportunities and growth awaiting each student.

This transition into high school marks an important step in your student's academic journey. At MHS, we are committed to introducing students to our philosophy of Career and College readiness, ensuring they are equipped with the resources and skills needed to confidently pursue their post-high school goals. Through a combination of required credits and elective offerings, we are creating intentional pathways to help students explore their interests and discover future possibilities.

We invite you to join us for an Informational Meeting on Tuesday, February 18th, at 5:30 PM in the Monticello High School Auditorium. This session will welcome you to MHS and guide you through the registration process for your student. Topics will include accessing the Course Catalog on our website, understanding the registration process, schedules for the 2024-25 school year, and graduation requirements. While students will also receive this information during the school day, they are encouraged and welcome to attend the meeting with you.
