Hoyne Happenings
Hello Pembroke Families!
Everyone has been so excited to see the sunshine and warm weather arrive. Last week we celebrated our amazing paraprofessionals, who brighten Pembroke all year long. We are so lucky to have such an amazing group of dedicated staff working hard for all students. We truly appreciate them.
I would also like to extend a huge thank you to our PTA and Anvita Bawa for planning International Night. It was an amazing night of learning and experiencing many of the amazing cultures that make Pembroke a great place to be. On Saturday, many 4th and 5th grade students participated in Science Olympiad. All of the students made me proud by working hard and demonstrating excellent sportsmanship!
Students in grades 3 - 5 will begin or continue taking MSTEP this week. Our students are ready to show how much theyβve grown academically. We encourage students to rest well, eat a healthy breakfast, and approach each day with confidence.
Finally, this week we are so excited to welcome families in for STEAM and Art Innovation night on Wednesday night. STEAM night will be from 5:30 - 7:00 pm. This amazing showcase of art, creativity, and problem solving will showcase work from all students. We look forward to seeing you there!
Have a great week!

Pembroke Enrollment Changes
At this time of year we begin planning for staffing and student placement for the 26 - 27 school year. If your student/s will be entering grades 1 - 5 next school year and you will not be returning, we would appreciate you taking a minute to fill out this form, so we can plan appropriately for next year. Thank you so much. Again, this form should only be filled out if your child is not returning to Pembroke next year and would be in entering grades 1 - 5.
2026-2027 Classroom Environment Request Form
During spring, thoughts turn to the 2026-2027 school year and the student placement process. The student placement process is a team effort conducted with great care and consideration of the growth and development of all students. A balance of character strengths, academic ability, social-emotional growth, individual and instructional needs are taken into consideration.
Any information about your child that you, as parents, may wish to share that will help us make our decision will be taken into consideration. If you would like to share information about your child, you may use this form. Please do not request an individual teacher or include names of students other than your own. Rather, we ask you to give us additional information that will help us select the right classroom for your child. It is important to note that with or without information from parents/guardians, the staff will review each student's needs individually and select the learning environment in which we believe he/she will learn best.
If you wish to share information, please complete this form by Monday, April 20th, 2026. Please note that families do not need to fill this form out, it is only necessary if you have information you
would like to share with the team.
