South Musical: Seussical - Opens Tonight
South High School presents "Seussical" this weekend, December 11-14 at the South High School theater. Children are encouraged to attend this family-friendly musical, so Thursday through Saturday performances have a 6:30 p.m. start and a Sunday matinee at 2 p.m.
Featuring the beloved characters of Dr. Seuss, "Seussical" is fun for the whole family. The Cat in the Hat tells the story of Horton, an elephant who discovers a speck of dust that contains the Whos, including Jojo, a Who child sent off to military school for thinking too many "thinks." Horton faces a double challenge: not only must he protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, but he must guard an abandoned egg, left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird.
Tickets are $6 for students and $8 for adults and can be purchased on the Fargo Public Schools Online Theater Box Office website.
