Making Every Moment Count!
We will finish strong!
Dear CMS Families, It’s hard to believe we are nearing the end of another school year! Parents, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your enduring support, your strong relationships with the school, and the encouragement you provide to both your children and our staff. The patience and love you have shown to your middle schoolers throughout this school year are truly appreciated! As we finish strong in these final days, here are some important reminders: - Testing is finished, but students are still actively learning and exploring in their instruction. - Students are still held accountable for their decisions. Please remind them about making good choices and understanding the consequences of their actions. We love our CMS Tigers and hope the remaining days are filled with positive memories with our staff!
Thank you!

Student Device Collection and Charges
Dear Parents/Guardians and Students,
Starting on May 28 - 30, 2025, device collection will begin here at Conway Middle School. On Wednesday the 28th, the eighth grade students need to bring their laptops and chargers to school for collection. On Thursday the 29th, the sixth graders will need to bring their laptops and chargers to school. On Friday the 30th, the seventh graders will bring their devices to school.
In preparation for this, there are a few requirements that need to be met upon collection. There should be no stickers, labels and such on the device. There shouldn’t be writing of any kind on the device, including the keyboard. If there is any damage to the device, the student is responsible for that damage.
Below are the fines for any of these issues.

National History Day! #BuildingGreatness2025
Our school had a total of five groups, equaling a total of 11 student participants: William "Mac" Goldfinch, Winston "Winn" Hucks , James "Jase" Mclain, Mckenzie Rabon , Sydney Rausch, Ihor Drovorub, Gibson Porter, David "Will" Cecil, Hayes Rabon, Evan Johnson, Julia Hagen-a dream team for sure.
Advancing to the national competition is an incredible challenge, as only two entries can progress from each category. In true CMS fashion, where we are "Building Greatness" every day, and our students are the magnificent architects of excellence, three groups' names were called as winners. William "Mac" Goldfinch, Winston "Winn" Hucks, and James "Jase" Mclain finished in second place in the group documentary division and will advance to the national competition. Ihor Drovorub and Gibson Porter will also be moving on to nationals after finishing second in the group exhibit category. Mckenzie Rabon and Sydney Rausch completed their journey with a strong third place and will serve as alternates.
Happy School Lunch Hero Day!
Dissecting Sheep Brains!
Mrs. Warner's 7th grade Medical Detectives class had an exciting hands-on experience dissecting sheep brains! This activity gave students a deeper understanding of brain structure and anatomy.
