We all know that OCSA has the best teachers in the universe, which is why we are thrilled that for the first time, we are going to be participating in Orange County's Teacher of the Year program!

If you have a colleague who you believe truly embodies what it means to be an outstanding teacher and who lives and breathes OCSA's Core Values, please consider filling out this OCSA Teacher of the Year Nomination Form by the end of the day on Wednesday, December 16 to nominate them to be considered to represent OCSA.

All credentialed teachers who have been teaching for 8 or more years can be nominated.

If there has ever been a year to celebrate you for the incredible work you do, it is this one, so we are excited to have the opportunity to do so.

As we prepare to begin the Spring Semester 2021, please review the updated Teacher Norms for Spring 2021 document for all OCSA teachers for the Spring Semester.

Thank you to the OCSA Reopening Task Force members who helped to contribute suggestions and ideas for updating this document! Your ongoing support and collaboration, and during this Fall Semester has not gone unnoticed!

Which students are participating in the on campus learning cohort? Please click here to access the list of all of the students who are currently enrolled in the on campus cohort.

Please be advised that due to the pandemic, OCSA cannot mandate that students attend school on campus each day. Therefore, the majority of the students attend school 2-3 days per week. If you have any questions or concerns about a student, please contact their case carrier.

Please finish reviewing the Curriculum Handbook and submit any new courses to Becca Freeland by Monday, January 4th

Teachers will have access to their new classes in Aeries by Wednesday, January 5th. Please remember to post your Google Agenda slide and Zoom links for students to access prior to January 11th.

In preparation for the dual academy launch on Monday, January 11, all teachers who are assigned to teach in-person schedules are required to schedule an appointment with OCSA IT (techsupport@csarts.net) to review your classroom technology and begin the process of setting technology needs for instruction.

These appointments must be completed by Friday, January 8, 2021 - please make every effort to complete this as soon as possible.
