SP East Band Updates

Paisley Visits Concert Band

The Concert Band has been working hard on a piece of music titled "The Adventure of Paisley & Milo." The piece is inspired by a book written by a 6 year old named Paisley. Paisley came to East High School last Thursday to help the band and play some percussion. We will share her story on our concert on March 5. Thank you Paisley!

Sun Prairie Jazz Festival - February 21

Saturday, February 21, Sun Prairie will host its jazz festival at SP West. This is a day full of performances and clinics with fantastic jazz musicians, teachers, and all around good people.

Combined East & West Band Concert - March 5

Our next band concert is March 5 at 7:30 p.m. in the East Performing Arts Center. The wind ensembles and concert bands from both East and West will join forces and for this concert.

We will welcome several guest artists to work with students and be part of the concert. Composer Jennifer Jolly will join all of our bands that week. Also, the concert band at East will premier "The Adventure of Paisley and Milo" composed by Embree Way and inspired by a book by our guest Paisley!

We are looking forward to a great week of music!
