May 20th
Information from Mrs. Kennedy
Hello, WMS Demon Families and Students,
Thank you to our WMS Demon Families for their continuous support and team effort!
It is hard to believe that the 2025-2026 school year is coming to an end in just over a week. That said, students are actively engaged in learning, as we are still in school. It is important for your student to maintain strong attendance.
As the end nears, various special events and collection processes take place. We appreciate students and families' support in returning Chromebooks and chargers, library books, and other school items, as well as paying lunch account balances.
If you have any questions regarding paying for lost items or lunch account balances, please don't hesitate to reach out to the WMS Main Office at 406.377.2356.
We look forward to seeing our soon-to-be 7th and 8th-grade students and families, and welcome our soon-to-be 6th graders to the WMS Crew! Have a wonderful summer!
Fondly,
Katy Kennedy
Principal
Washington Middle School

In March, we began the FIRST Lego League Club at WMS. Thank you to Pastor Stahlman and Mr. Stahlman for facilitating this opportunity for our students. Thank you to all the students who participated and put their minds to work to create, problem-solve, collaborate, and so much more.
Event Information
Please enter through the Main Doors. Then, head to the Gym and sit in the bleachers. Please note we will begin calling classes down approximately 12:35 (I could not choose that time).

What's Happening at WMS?
Our Special Education Pre-School Showing their Best
Our preschool students are sending us into summer with smiles on our faces!
Thank You...Teacher Appreciation Week
Thank you to our TIP members for making creative signs for each staff member during Teacher Appreciation Week. We would also like to thank the GPS PTA for the sweet delivery of donuts and Black Sheep for the yummy brownie bits!
8th-grade Physical Science Keeps Labbing
Our 8th-grade Physical Science continues to learn using the skills need to succeed beyond the school walls while applying their learning in class. Dr. Almonds students used the ph Scale and common household items to identify acids and bases.
The Chicks have Hatched
Whether you are three years old or 65 years old, seeing chicks hatch from eggs and grow until they're ready to be outdoors is an unforgettable experience. We have many who experience this in different classes. Our preschool friends also made memories to take home of their chicks so they didn't forget their new friends when they left.
Dairy Products with Different Perspectives
Ms. Tennant's 7th-grade students researched different types of dairy products and shared their learning and opinions.
Happy Summering
