🎉SIS September Students of the Month – Core Value: Caring 💙
From School Counselor Renee Stancliffe:

We’re excited to celebrate our September Students of the Month, recognized for showing the core value of Caring! These students were nominated by their teachers for consistently demonstrating kindness, empathy, and compassion toward others—whether through lending a helping hand, offering encouraging words, or making classmates feel included and supported.

To honor their thoughtful actions, students received a special goody bag and a fun surprise visit from the Chick-fil-A Cow!
It was a joyful moment filled with smiles, high-fives, and well-deserved recognition.

Congratulations to these amazing role models—we’re so proud of how they care for their school community!

SISD celebrated Hello Week with a series of themed days focused on kindness and connection. The week began with everyone wearing green, followed by Smiley Wednesday, where students and staff wore smiley-face apparel to spread joy. Thursday’s “Tune Into Kindness” encouraged band T-shirts, and on Blackout Friday, everyone wore black to help “black out” loneliness.

SMS wrapped up the week with Say Hello Day, where students and staff wore “Hello, my name is…” name tags and made a point to greet at least three new people. The message was simple: you belong here. See someone alone? Reach out. Start with hello!

This year, our athletic department is offering 20 exclusive audio advertisement opportunities for local businesses through our GameTime music streaming service, which will be broadcast during every home district sporting event throughout the 2025-2026 school year.

These audio ad slots are a unique way for local companies to gain exposure to hundreds of fans at each event while directly supporting Sunnyvale’s student-athletes.

How Parents Can Help:
We’re asking our families to help us connect with local businesses that might be interested in advertising through this high-visibility opportunity. Whether you own a business, work for one, or know someone who might be interested — please consider sharing this opportunity or passing along their contact information to our team.

Goal: Fill All 20 Slots by Season Start!

* Exclusive Opportunity: In addition to the 20 regular sponsorships, we are offering one (1) Title Sponsorship for $1,000. This premium spot gives your business top billing on GameTime throughout the season — maximum visibility, maximum impact.
