We had a short but productive week! This morning, Mrs. Lavoie's class gave a wonderful presentation and shared a story with the school in honor of Veterans Day. Later, parent and illustrator Alicia Griffiths visited and read My Mom is a Veteran to classes. Several students showed interest in the book, so I’ve included a link if you’d like more information.

Be sure to check out the details below for upcoming events such as the Scholastic Book Fair and our Turkey Trot as well as the Title 1 Survey. Classes will be collecting non-perishable items as part of the Turkey Trot, donations will be made to the local food pantry.

While some students were able to retrieve items from the lost and found, there are still many sweatshirts and jackets remaining. Please encourage your child to check for any missing items!

Please use the link above to visit the PES Scholastic Book Fair site. The Book Fair will be 11/12-11/15. Students will have the opportunity to visit the book fair in their class and create wish lists. On Thursday, the Fair open to public from 4:00 - 7:00 pm. On Friday, the will have one last chance to go down to purchase a book if they haven't already.
