It’s alive! Unleash your inner mad scientist at the Frankentoy Lab. You'll take old, discarded toys apart and mash them back together to build brand-new, creepy-cool creations just in time for Halloween. Dyer Library has some toys, but feel free to bring a few to share! Recommended for ages 6 and up (note: hot glue guns will be used during this program). Come ready to dismantle, rebuild, and create! Divisions: Twinkling (Grades PK-K) Rising (Grades 1-2), Shooting (Grades 3-4), Shining (Grades 5-6), and Super (Grades 7-8). Registration is open to residents and non-residents
Season Fees:$170.00 Twinkling, $225.00 Rising, $350.00 Shooting and Shining, $400.00 Super
Registration Deadline: Registration will close on Sunday, November 1st. Teams will be announced on Monday, November 2nd. First practice will be on Sunday, November 8th.
Practice Days: Sunday and Wednesday starting November 9th

Biddeford Recreation: Basketball Teams

TRAVEL TEAM:

This program is open to basketball players in Grades 3-7 and is designed for athletes who would like to play in a more competitive league in the Southern Maine area. All players interested in playing on a Biddeford Recreation Travel Team are required to attend the evaluation night.

Evaluations: Monday, November 2nd - Register by October 29th

Grades 3/4: 4:30pm
Grades 5/6 (Boys): 5:30pm
Grades 5/6 (Girls): 6:30pm

RECREATION BASKETBALL TEAM:

This program is geared towards teaching basketball fundamentals with an emphasis on good sportsmanship, fun, and fostering young players' physical, mental, and social-emotional growth.

Grades 1-6: Register by November 13th
Pre-K/Kinder Hoops Basketball (Ages 3-5): Register by November 27th

Bridges Holiday Craft Fair ~ 11.7.26

Biddeford High School's Tiger Gym, 20 Maplewood Ave., Biddeford

Join over 40 local crafters and vendors at this excellent opportunity to buy holiday gifts, eat delicious treats, and win prizes, including 100 gallons of #2 heating oil donated by Provencher Fuels!

The event benefits the Bridges Program, which supports young adults eligible for extended educational services as they transition from high school to the adult world. Proceeds will fund the exploration of our local community to experience and practice everyday living skills such as dining out, shopping, and maneuvering out in the community. In fact, the students are also providing baked goods and crockpot meals to sell!
