Dryden Splash | March 29, 2026

Dear Dryden Families,
At Dryden, our students continue to impress us with their creativity, collaboration, and enthusiasm for learning! As part of a 5th grade learning activity in preparation for Module 7, which focuses on exploration, students selected a famous explorer to research and brought history to life by presenting to their classes as that explorer in a Living Wax Museum. This engaging experience allowed students to deepen their understanding of important historical figures while strengthening their research, speaking, and presentation skills. We are so proud of the effort and imagination our 5th graders demonstrated throughout this exciting project.
Our talented Drama Club also wowed audiences with their performance of Jurassic Trapped! With the guidance of club sponsor Maria Goldstein, our 3rd and 5th grade students wrote and performed this original short play on Friday, March 20th for fellow students and their families. They even created the scenery themselves! It was wonderful to see their creativity, teamwork, and confidence shine both on and off the stage.
Photos of our creative students and their work from both events are included below.
Warmly,
Jessica Martinsen
