Dear Johnson ECC Families,
It was so wonderful to meet and greet students and families this week during Parent and Student Orientation Days. I'm sure you'll agree the excitement in the air was palpable!
As we prepare for the opening of the Preschool on Monday some reminders:
- We ask that parents stay outside the yellow gates at student drop off. Drop off begins at 8:10 a.m.
- A staff member will greet you in the morning and walk your child into the building. Students will line up with their class inside the school building.
- Student dismissal: The classes will exit the building and line up outside with their teacher and ESP. Students will not be released until the teacher/ESP see the parent/guardian. If staff has not met the person(s) picking up, you may be asked to provide as ID to be sure we are releasing to the proper adult. Safety is a top priority. We want to be sure students are safely reunited at the end of the school day with their families.
- All emergency contact information must be completed before your child starts school.
Parking:
- Please be patient in the parking lot. Cars should not idle during pick up or drop off. Mr. John and Mrs. C. will be visible and assisting families in parking and release. The first few weeks may run a bit slower as students and families become acclimated to our pick up drop off system. Your patience is appreciated!
TUITION:
- Please remember when paying tuition to put your child's first and last name in the memo section of the tuition check. This will assist us in crediting the proper account.
TRANSITIONS:
- Transitions can be difficult for children. See the link below for some helpful tips https://challengingbehavior.org/docs/backpack/BackpackConnection_routines_morning.pdf
