Eight members of the MS/HS band had the privilege of participating in Honor Band in Holyoke on Monday. To qualify, students were asked to film themselves performing a select set of skills, which is then judged by a panel of music teachers. Students are accepted and placed in order in their section by the best auditions. Alaina Brent and Alexis Anchando were chosen as first chairs and best in their sections. Students who attended Honor Band were Alexis Anchando, Brigid Ardrey, Levi Ardrey, RyLee Bacon, Alaina Brent, Alex Galindo, Adele Porteus, and Ryleigh Zena.

Thank you to Ms. Lowry for helping our students succeed and develop their love for music.

On Tuesday, the school had the opportunity to host the Adventure Vision Clinic, with 13 students from the Akron School being served! Eight students qualified to receive glasses that will be delivered and fitted to the student in the next few weeks.

Thank you to our BOCES nurse for helping us provide this service to our students.

The Rams were back at it on Friday, competing in a Dual with Yuma. The matches were tough, with the Rams ultimately coming out on top in some and falling short in others.

On Saturday, the wrestling team had another tournament, this time in Limon. Despite the exhaustion from a busy weekend, the team showed great resilience and determination, giving it their all in each match.

The Rams will wrestle this Saturday, February 1st in Eaton starting at 9am.

The Rams had some exciting games last Friday in Holyoke. The girls team had a double digit win, 55-33, over the Dragons and the boy's varsity pulled off a 56-49 win in double overtime.

The boys C and JV also played, both getting some time on the court. The JV team played a close game, but weren't able to pull off the win, while the C team worked together to secure a win. There was great team effort all around, with everyone showing their Ram spirit!

The Rams host SedgCo on Friday, January 31st starting at 4pm.

Monday, our MS wrestlers attended the wrestling bash in Merino. They battled it out on the mat, showing off their skills and sportsmanship. With some impressive wins and tough losses, the team gained valuable experience and had a blast competing against other schools. Next Monday the team will travel to Holyoke to participate in the Holyoke MS Wrestling Bash.

On Monday, the MS girls hosted Merino, Wiggins, and Sterling for their tournament. The A, B and C teams all saw some valuable time on the court.
