Principal's Message Principal's Message

Good afternoon,

As we approach the final week before Spring Break, there is a distinct sense of excitement in our hallways. While we are all looking forward to a well-deserved rest, this is a critical week for our students to stay focused and finish the school year on a high note.

I want to encourage our students to use these final five days to:

  • Check-in on assignments: Ensure all classwork and homework is turned in before we head into break.

  • Maintain attendance: Every day counts for learning, even the ones right before a holiday!

  • Support one another: Letโ€™s keep our school culture kind and patient as energy levels rise.

Spring Break will officially begin on Monday, March 23rd through Friday, March 27th.

Morning Announcements

Warm Regards,

Emily Loerakker

Fremont MS Principal

8th Grade Slideshow

Hello 8th Grade parents!

We want to celebrate your kids and the fun memories theyโ€™ve made over the years. We are putting together a slideshow to be shown during the 8th grade dance. Help them walk down memory lane with this fun tribute to their time here at Fremont. We thank you in advance for your help with this.

What type of pictures we are looking forโ€ฆ..

  • Pictures with just your child (example: baby picture, first day of kindergarten, birthday, special moments, funny memory)

  • Pictures with Fremont friends (past students are ok)

  • Pictures of Fremont sporting events

  • Pictures of class parties, school field trips, other school events or clubs

What type of pictures not to includeโ€ฆ.

  • Pictures with family

  • Pictures with non-Fremont friends

How to share your memoriesโ€ฆ.

  • Name each picture with the child's first initial, last name, and picture number (1, 2, 3, etc.)

  • How to share: email them to fremontclassof2026@gmail.com

  • Please only share 10 pictures per student

All pictures are due no later than April 11th to give us plenty of time to compile all the memories. Thanks for your help in making this a special time for each and every 8th grader!

Are you interested in helping plan the 8th Grade Graduation Dance? The next dance committee meeting is tomorrow, Wednesday, February 25th at 6:30 pm in the Middle School Den. If you have any questions, please email Stacie Brown at sbrownn14@gmail.com.

Quest Lunch Updates Quest Lunch Updates

In an effort to better help students to thrive and grow while at school, Quest and Fremont have shifted the choices of snacks and beverages available to them to purchase in the cafeterias at lunch time. With the focus on providing a balanced source of energy and nutrition, our chips and cracker choices are now focusing on portions that are whole-grain and reduced-fat. We have also shifted the beverage selection to promote low-sugar juice and drinks to help fuel studentsโ€™ learning, while still providing them with the same variety of options they look for during lunch. Please contact Food Service Director Anthony Smith with any questions.
