Welcome Back to the 2026-2027 School Year at Whispering Ridge Community School!
As we begin another school year at WRCS, we are filled with excitement and optimism for the months ahead. A new year brings with it many opportunities for connection, learning, friendships, and experiences.
At WRCS, we take pride in our strong culture of collaboration and aim to have high expectations for ourselves and our students. Building and nurturing meaningful relationships with our students, staff, and families is at the heart of what we do. Together, we are wholeheartedly committed to being partners in education, with the goal of raising well-rounded, respectful young people equipped with the skills and character to thrive in life.
Our School Council and Participarent groups provide wonderful opportunities for parents to be involved and help shape the future of our school. The commitment is low, and even if you can only attend occasionally, your voice makes a difference. We’d love to welcome some new faces this year! Meetings happen monthly and more information can be found on our website or Facebook page.
As your administrative team, we encourage parents to reach out with questions, ideas, or concerns. We see ourselves as one big school family and remain committed to transparency, collaboration, and creating a school where everyone has a strong sense of belonging.
Please join us at our Open House BBQ on September 1st (5pm - 7pm) and take some time to meet your child’s teacher(s) and look around our beautiful school.
Thank you for being an essential part of our WRCS community!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Abby Stilwell (Principal)
Mr. Peter Bailey (Assistant Principal)
Mrs. Caroline Wheeler (Assistant Principal)
Class Lists for Next Year,
As a school, we do not accept class placement requests. Each spring, our staff invests a great deal of time and thoughtful consideration into creating balanced class groupings for the following school year. This process spans many hours and involves input from classroom teachers, support staff, and school administration. We take into account a wide range of factors, including: academic abilities, social and emotional dynamics, work habits, clustering for additional support, and peer relationships, to ensure every student is set up for success. While we appreciate parent insight and can take it into consideration, please know we do not formally accept any placement requests.
