ELC Director Announcement
Welcome to St. John's, Dr. Jennifer Coggin
Dear St. John’s ELC-8th Grade and Church Community,
We pleased to announce that Dr. Jennifer Coggin has joined us as our new Early Learning Center Director. Her first official day on campus was Monday, July 20.
Dr. Coggin brings over 30 years of rich experience in early childhood education across both the non-profit and for-profit sectors. Her background includes a decade of leadership at Ability Connection Colorado - serving as Education Supervisor, Director of Program Operations, and Director of Comprehensive Services - as well as over five years as Education Director at The Goddard School in Highlands Ranch. She is also active in state-level advocacy, serving on the Healthy Child Care Colorado Pyramid Professional Development Group and the Assuring Better Child Health and Development Policy Council, among other state policy committees.
Dr. Coggin holds a Doctorate of Education in Early Childhood Mental Health and a Master’s degree specializing in Teaching Adult Learners. With this deep background, Dr. Coggin will serve and bless our children, families, and staff with care and capability.
Above all, Jennifer is deeply committed to the Lord and is passionate about helping our youngest learners know and experience His love every day.
In our conversations, Jennifer shared a reflection that truly captures her heart for ministry. She spoke about the importance of taking time to remember the beautiful things happening in our center daily - because there are so many of them. This heart of gratitude aligns so beautifully with our school’s PAWS value of Appreciation: "We are grateful for the blessings we receive from God and each other."
We are incredibly blessed to welcome Dr. Coggin to St. John’s, and we look forward to the season of growth and joy ahead for our children, families, and staff. Please join us in giving her a warm welcome when you see her on campus this week.
