KIndergarten KIndergarten

In the book, Albert’s Alphabet, Albert designs and builds all the letters of the alphabet, using

tools and scraps. We read the book together and talked about brainstorming as part of the Design Process. The kindergarten students were issued a challenge: Design and build a letter of the alphabet that will stand by itself. We started the planning piece, but they may want to finish the building piece at home. Here are the instructions if you'd like to work on it at home.

I have assigned 2 assignments in SeeSaw for kindergarten so far. Let me know if you have any questions.

First Grade First Grade

Sink or Float

First Graders had the opportunity to experiment and explore with different types of objects, and to record the results of their experimentation. Students had to determine why various objects would sink or float in water. We are discussing buoyancy and density.

I have assigned 2 short assignments in SeeSaw for first grade so far. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Second Grade Second Grade

It's extinct

In second grade students were analyzing the reason animals go extinct or become endangered. Second graders are developing the ability necessary to do scientific inquiry in classroom and outdoor investigations.

I have assigned 2 assignments in Google Classroom for 2nd grade so far. Let me know if you have any questions.

Third Grade Third Grade
