Mark Woodby has proudly banked with EFSB since 1986 and greatly appreciates the service and relationships he has built over the years.
In the United States, fireworks arrived in America with the earliest settlers. They were used in celebrations and rituals, but it was the American Revolution that cemented their place in national tradition. On July 4, 1777, Philadelphia hosted the first organized Independence Day celebration, featuring a display of thirteen rockets (one for each colony) and cannon shots. This followed John Adams’ 1776 vision of “illuminations from one end of this continent to the other”.
