Principal's Message
Hello Eagle Families,
Thank you to all of our Eagle families for taking the time to connect with teachers during Parent-Teacher Conferences this week! We truly appreciate your continued partnership, involvement, and support as we work together to help our Eagles learn, grow, and soar!
Next week, we head into our 11th week of school, with just five more weeks until Thanksgiving Break! As we return to our regular school schedules, please remember to check the weather and send students prepared with sweaters or jackets as the mornings begin to get cooler.
A special thank you to all of our families who supported our Trunk or Treat event! Whether you decorated a trunk, donated treats, volunteered your time, or are joining us for the festivities, your participation will help make this a fun and memorable experience for our Eagles. We are grateful for our amazing school community and the many ways you help make TLES such a special place!
Wishing all of our Eagle families a wonderful and restful weekend! Thank you for being part of One Nest, One Team, One Dream!

Independent Study Contract
Did you know you can request an Independent Study?
If your student is ill or going on extended leave, you can request a Short Term Independent Study Contract (STIS). The contract can be from 1 to 15 days. This allows your student to keep up with missed school work and recoup attendance credit.
How do you request a contract?
- Inform your teacher when you will be leaving. Please allow 5 or more days for the teacher to plan work for your student. If your student is ill, the contract can be backdated to allow for time missed. Just inform your teacher you would like to receive homework for the time your student was ill.
- Call or email Mrs. Chamberlain at the front office. Inform her of the dates you will be missing school. She will send you the form to fill out for the STIS contract. kchamberlain@tvusd.us or 951-294-6340 ext 53003.
When you return from illness or your trip, the homework will be due upon return to school. Credit will be given for work and attendance once the work is turned in and graded.
Have questions? Please reach out to Mrs. Chamberlain in the front office.
PBIS Skills Review
This week, we continued to review and reinforce our schoolwide PBIS expectations. Students practiced what it looks and sounds like to be safe, respectful, responsible, and ready to learn across different areas of our campus. Consistently reviewing these expectations helps students build positive habits, make responsible choices, and contribute to a safe and supportive learning environment for everyone.

Bus Loop Reminder
The bus loop is for bus riders, those needing special assistance, and BASES families. Do not use this loop as a parking lot or drop-off/pick-up location unless you have a designated pass. The bus needs to access this loop freely so they can deliver students and move along to the next site in an expedited manner so that students are not tardy to class.
