Message from Principal Montgomery Message from Principal Montgomery

Dear Wolf Families,

We hope your summer was filled with rest, fun, and time to recharge! The start of the 2026-2027 school year is right around the corner, and our team couldn't be more excited to open our doors to both our new and returning Wolves. Whether your student is taking their very first steps into middle school or settling back into familiar halls, we are truly grateful to partner with you for the year ahead.

Our mission at Mountain View rests on two unwavering commitments: building an environment where every single Wolf feels a sense of belonging, and empowering every student to reach high levels of academic achievement. Every effort we make from building strong, trusting relationships to delivering challenging, supportive instruction stems from these priorities. When our students feel known, valued and supported, powerful learning happens.

We also know that thriving schools rely on strong family partnerships. We are deeply grateful for all the ways you support our community, whether you’re volunteering, attending school events, or encouraging learning at home. Working together, we can ensure a successful start and a successful year for your student.

For the 26-27 school year, our staff is embracing the theme: “Grow Together. Lead the Pack.” For our educators, it represents our ongoing commitment to excellence, working together to deliver our best every day. For our students, “Grow Together” focuses on academic growth, learning alongside peers, and tackling the challenges of middle school while “Lead the Pack” is about developing character, encouraging every Wolf to lead with confidence, kindness, and integrity. We are excited to see how this shared focus brings out the very best in our entire school community.

Below, you’ll find key dates and information to help your family prepare for the start of the year. In the coming weeks, we’ll continue to share updates through email, social media, and our school website. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or needs.

Warmly,

Amy Montgomery

Principal
