Thank You for a Successful Week One!

Dear ZCMS Families,

Thank you for helping make our first week of school such a success! It has been wonderful to see our students arrive each day on time feeling comfortable, welcomed, and confident that they belong at Central. Students have done an excellent job following our school expectations, showing respect for one another, and setting a high standard for themselves and our entire school community. We are proud of the way our students have started the year, and we appreciate the partnership of our families in helping reinforce the importance of being respectful, responsible, and ready to learn. We are excited about the year ahead and grateful to have you as part of the ZCMS community!

I would like to share important updates with you for the upcoming week.

Warm regards,

Christopher Johnson

Principal, ZCMS

Important Week 2 Information Important Week 2 Information

Open House

Please join us for our Open House on August 25th from 4:30-6:30. This is an excellent opportunity to meet teachers, gather information, walk student schedules, and become familiar with our building.

Pick-Up and Drop-Off Reminders: When picking up or dropping off students, please use 27th street rather than Bethel or our front lot as busses and private transportation utilize these spaces.

Student Handbook

Please review the student handbook above (click button), which outlines student expectations to ensure a safe environment for learning.

Student Schedules

Please do not hesitate to reach out to teachers or myself directly with any questions regarding your student's schedule.

Pirate Power

This year, every student at Zion Central Middle School will start the day with our advisory period called Pirate Power. The goal of pirate power is to teach our students important social-emotional skills through our new Character Strong curriculum, as well as provide them an opportunity to set and follow their own goals throughout the school year.
