Input for Superintendent Search
Our Board of Education has begun the process of identifying our next superintendent. This communication includes information about how you can provide your input. Engaging members of our school community in this process is a priority for the Board, as your feedback will play a key role in shaping the selection of our next leader.

Please see the attached document for more details.

The Board will continue to provide updates throughout the process. To stay informed, please go to the Superintendent Search page on the district website.

Parenting in the Digital World

We are pleased to offer our parents and guardians the opportunity to attend a special presentation pertinent to any adult who is responsible for children of any age. There is no shortage of conversation and concern around the impact of devices and the digital world on our youth. Please consider joining us on May 4th to engage on this critically important topic. Presentations are at 6 p.m. (elementary parents/guardians) and 7 p.m. (middle and high school parent/guardians). Both will be held at Romeo High School in the auditorium. Click here for more information.

Academies at Romeo

On Monday April 20th, 40 Romeo High School Design, Engineering and manufacturing students from robotics, mechanical engineering and the advanced manufacturing pathways will attend an industry tour of several Ford Motor Company properties. Students will first visit the Dearborn Diversified Manufacturing Plant for a tour of the facility and the production lines. From there they will bus to Michigan Central Station for lunch and an in-depth look at the Newlab facility housed there. RHS strives to inform students that both college, the trades, or a combination of both are viable options after high school. Opportunities such as this tour are crucial to ensure that RHS students understand and see the attainable careers and opportunities in southeast Michigan.

Reminders

2025-2026 Yearbook Update

Official book sales closed last month to allow for cover printing and final quantity counts.

  • Waitlist Policy: To keep things fair, we cannot hold books or maintain a pre-sale waitlist at this time.

  • Extra Copies: We have ordered a limited number of extra yearbooks. These will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis during the distribution period in May at both the 9GA and the high school. They are $90.00 cash or a check made out to RHS.

Early Dismissal Process

All student early dismissals must be called into the main office by a person on the student's approved contact list and before they are allowed to leave class.

2026-2027 Student Drivers

As we reach the halfway point in our second semester, we wanted to give some reminders to our students planning to drive to school NEXT school year.

For the first time in six years, we do not have enough parking spots/passes to meet the demand. This means that not every student that wants a parking pass next year will get one. As usual, seniors and juniors will have the first opportunity to get a parking pass at Bulldog Days in August. We will then determine if we will be able to offer parking passes to sophomores or not (if so, that will be announced in October).

We also want to bring attention to the Student Success Criteria section in our RHS Parking Agreement which includes the following:

All Romeo High School students are expected to work towards a high school diploma, attend school regularly, and exhibit proper behaviors while at school or school functions. For these reasons, parking passes may be revoked (temporarily or permanently) if a student is failing classes and is not on pace to graduate, has excessive absences or tardies, and/or is suspended from school.

As you finish out the 2025-2026 school year, please keep in mind that the following behaviors will be necessary to help ensure your ability to get a parking pass:

  • Be on pace to graduate (ie. pass all your classes)
  • Attend school on a regular basis (ie. keep the absences to a minimum)
  • Be on time to school and every class period
  • Avoid behaviors that could get you suspended (there are many infractions that could lead to a suspension, but vaping is by far most common)

Class of 2026 Senior Information

Senior Meeting

Here's the slideshow from the Senior Meeting Wednesday. Please take a look so you can see what we discussed with our seniors. Also, be sure to check out the articulation credits on slide 3 and 4; it's possibly FREE college credit for the CTE pathway classes your child has already taken.

If your student is planning to bring a guest from another school, they must pick up a guest pass at the time of purchase. These are due back at the main office by May 4th.

  • Only RHS seniors and their approved guests may attend.
  • Non-RHS guests must complete a guest pass available in the main office.
