February 22, 2026

Dear Dryden Families,
We are so incredibly grateful to our amazing PTA for the many ways they make our staff feel appreciated all year long. This month, they treated our teachers and staff to a delicious luncheon on Parent-Teacher Conference Day, bringing in sandwiches from Jimmy John's and rounding out the meal with salads, chips, desserts, pop, and plenty of love. During a long day of meaningful conversations with families, it meant so much for our team to be able to gather, recharge, and feel so cared for. In addition, our PTA thoughtfully hand-delivered custom Starbucks orders to the staff members who stand outside in the cold each morning, thanking them for helping our students arrive safely to school each day. From Stock the Lounge to conference dinners and luncheons, to special events like January’s Soup-er Bowl, our PTA continually finds meaningful ways to fill both our stomachs and our hearts. We are deeply thankful for their ongoing generosity and support.
We also want to celebrate the incredible Glow and Snow Family Dance the PTA hosted for Dryden families on Friday, February 20th. Excitement reigned supreme as students and their little siblings entered the gym and took in the dazzling décor, glowing lights, and festive photo backdrop. Children could be heard exclaiming, “Let’s party!” as they ran off to join their friends on the dance floor. DJ Head Spin kept the energy high all evening. And yes, he even performed his famous head spin! For those who needed a quieter moment, arts and crafts tables were thoughtfully set up in the hallway outside the gym. We are so grateful to the PTA for providing this fun-filled evening for our families free of charge.
Please take a look at the photos of both the staff luncheon and the Glow and Snow Family Dance below. They capture the joy and appreciation that make Dryden such a special place.
Warmly,
Jessica Martinsen
