Dear SJCA Families,

As we celebrate Independence Day and our nation's 250th birthday, I'm reminded of what an incredible privilege it is to live in this great country. At St. Johns Classical Academy, we spend each day teaching the history, ideas, and virtues that have shaped America, and this milestone gives me an opportunity to pause and reflect on just how special that calling is.

Our mission is to develop graduates in mind and character through a classical education that prepares them to become intelligent, virtuous American citizens. Together with our faculty, staff, and families, we are helping shape the next generation of American citizens. What an honor!

As the daughter of a veteran, this holiday holds a special meaning for me. I know firsthand that the freedoms we enjoy came at a cost, and I am especially grateful to live in a community where so many of our families have answered the call to serve. To our active-duty military, veterans, and the families who faithfully support them—thank you. Your sacrifices have made it possible for all of us to enjoy the freedoms we celebrate this Fourth of July.

I hope your holiday is filled with time spent with those you love, grateful hearts, and a renewed appreciation for the blessings of living in the United States of America.

From my heart to yours, Happy Independence Day, and Happy 250th Birthday, America! It's my prayer that God will continue to bless this great country and also bless each family in abundant ways on our campus!

Sincerely,

Carole McCullough

Head of School

A heartfelt thank you to our parents and families for supporting this year’s 1776 Promise Campaign! Through recurring donations and participation in our Red, White, and Blue Spirit Days, your generosity has helped strengthen our efforts to support our teachers. We are grateful for your partnership, school spirit, and commitment to our school community!

As we enjoy our summer break from an incredible school year, we are proud to reflect on all that the Lions Council has accomplished and none of it would be possible without the support of our amazing SJCA families.

Because of you, we were able to make a meaningful impact across our school community.

Thank you for your generosity, your time, and your commitment to our school. Whether you volunteered, donated, attended events, or supported behind the scenes — you played a part in this past year’s success.

We will continue to build on this momentum next year!
