International DECA Competition

Monarch DECA took 17 students to the International DECA Competition this week in Orlando, Florida. All of the participating students had the opportunity to compete in a role play or written event project among over 22,000 participants from all over the world! Our students demonstrated an incredible amount of skill and put in hours of work to earn this opportunity and it was amazing to see them shine on such a big stage!

We had four students qualify for the final round of competition:

  • Riley Walter & Caleb Eubanks in the team role play category: Marketing Management
  • Annabelle Thrash & Leah Kugel in the Sales Project category for their Claim a Classroom project.

After the final round of competition (18 groups each), BOTH of our Monarch team finalists were called on stage as TOP 10 FINALISTS!! This is a very high honor and represents the top 5% of performers in each category!

Thank you to all of the community partners who supported the Claim a Classroom project and Monarch DECA this year. The students couldn't have done this without you!
