Registration Now Open for Three Paid Enrichment Classes
This fall we are excited to offer three paid enrichment classes that will be offered during ASE; Chess, Code Wiz and Ja Shin Do (Karate). Classes will start the week of September 29.
- Chess with Chess Wizards - Chess classes and lessons are based around the original, fun, and high-energy Chess Wizards curriculum. Regardless of a child’s ability Chess Wizards makes chess fun for all!
- Coding with Code Wiz - Code Wiz is an award-winning coding school forchildren! We believe every child has an inner genius and tons of creativity just waiting to be unlocked!
- Ja Shin Do (Karate) - Grand Master Instructor Kwan Jang Nim Ms. Camille teaches students the martial arts of Ja Shin Do. The course develops the Five S’s of Ja Shin Do: Self Discipline, Self Respect, Self Esteem, Self Control, Self Confidence.
Please Note: Due to the increasing costs, we find it necessary to adjust the pricing for our classes this year. Additionally, we will no longer be able to supplement classes that are underutilized. If we cannot reach the minimum enrollment for a class, we will offer a refund or a credit to your ASE MySchoolBucks account. We appreciate your understanding and support!

ASE Clubs and Activities
Over the next two weeks, we will be asking students which clubs and activities they would like to participate in this fall (in addition to playing outside with their friends!) by asking for their vote and ideas for ASE clubs.
While free choice and unstructured play are essential for your child's development and after-school experience, we pride ourselves on being more than just a child care service. Our program offers optional, enriching out-of-school time activities that promote learning and growth through clubs led by the adult group leaders and the high school counselors.
Please talk with your child about which activities and clubs they would most enjoy after school, and let them know that their opinions are very important to us.
Early Dismissal Day Program
Please note that your ASE tuition and enrollment does not include attendance during early dismissal days.
ASE students who regularly attend on the day of an early dismissal are eligible to sign up for the Early Dismissal Day Program. ED program days end at 5:00 pm for MCS staff trainings. Currently all early dismissal days are scheduled for Wednesdays. If your child is enrolled in the Tues/Thurs weekly program option they are not eligible to attend.
Going forward ED program registration closes a week prior to the scheduled ED day to allow our team time to plan for staffing and events. For staffing and planning purposes we are unable to accommodate late registrations.
Please click the link below to sign your child up for all ED days that they are qualified to attend at the start of the year or you can sign up as you go. Please note that there are no refunds or credits for ED days not attended and/or canceled.
First Weeks of School at ASE
It has been a pleasure getting to know your children. Students at all four ASE sites are settling smoothly into the routine of the after-school program.
Kindergarten students are learning new routines and expectations while enjoying getting to know each other. We are proud of our strong kindergarten programs, led by professional and experienced teams under the guidance of dedicated coordinators.
Adult group leaders and high school counselors are using this time to interact with students and reconnect with their interests.
