Afternoon Dismissal Reminder
All dismissal changes must be made in PikMyKid before 2:30 PM. We are unable to accommodate changes after that time.
Please note:
- Walkers must be picked up by an adult (18 or older) who has the student’s PikMyKid number.
- The walker line is not an additional car line. We’ve noticed many families parking and walking over to pick up, which causes congestion. If you are driving, please use the carline for pickup.
Thank you for helping us keep dismissal safe and efficient!
PowerSchool Returning Student Update:
If you have not completed the PowerSchool Returning Student Update please do so. This serves several purposes for the school including:
- Emergency Contacts
- Visitor Code of Conduct
- Acknowledgment of Rights
- Technology User Agreements
- Payment of Fees/Dues
- This year: Permission for the PK–8 SSRS-IE Social Emotional Learning (SEL) screener
If you need assistance please call the front office and someone will gladly help you.
School Closed tomorrow Friday September 12 for the Bristol Race.
Reading at Home
We would love to see every student reading at least 5 nights per week for a minimum of 20 minutes. Reading is one of the most powerful ways to build lifelong success. Our students are completing reading challenges each nine weeks and this will help them meet more of their goals. Below are some tips to help your student at home.
At Home Reading Tips:
Set a Routine – Pick a regular daily reading time.
Find a Spot – Help your child find a comfortable spot to read.
Read Together – Take turns reading aloud and talking about it.
Talk About It – Ask simple questions to spark comprehension.
Parent Teacher Conferences
Parent Teacher Conferences will be held next Thursday September 18 from 3:30 - 6:30. Please let your child's teacher know if you would like to meet with them if you have not heard from them.
Breakfast with Someone You Love
Our next Breakfast with Someone You Love will be Thursday September 25 at 7:15 in the cafeteria. We look forward to seeing you all there and building that positive connection between school and home.
