Barron Pioneer Families 2025-26

PRINCIPAL'S CORNER-
Barron Families,
As we welcome November, a month of gratitude and thankfulness, we take a moment to reflect on all that we have accomplished together and all that lies ahead. This month, we pause to honor and remember our veterans, celebrate the spirit of Thanksgiving, and continue building a community where every Pioneer learns and belongs. 🧡
🌟 Celebrating October Successes
As October comes to a close, let’s celebrate the incredible momentum across our community! We began with safety training, reinforcing our shared responsibility to ensure Barron remains a safe, supportive place for students and staff.
Our campus shined with family and community engagement through:
-
🏃♀️ Family Fitness Day
-
☕ Coffee with the Principal & Instructional Coaches
-
🎃 Trunk or Treat
-
🦮 Sunny’s Anti-Bite Class with Jess and Madusa
Each event reflected our collective commitment to belonging, connection, and joy among our Barron families.
🔸 Continuing the Momentum
This week, we continue our focus and momentum:
-
📖 Strengthening Tier 1 instruction with clarity and alignment.
-
✈️ Welcoming Author Graciela Tiscareño-Sato (Mama Captain) to inspire our students and students.
-
🦮 Enjoying another visit from Jess and Madusa with our 3rd–5th grade students.
And of course — it’s time for our annual “Reading Under the Stars” family event! 🌠 on Friday, Nov. 7th from 5-7.
You make the difference on this special night as we come together to celebrate the joy and importance of reading. Our new staff and new families are in for a treat as they experience this beautiful tradition that highlights one of our greatest values — reading is a priority for all.
🏫 Campus Pride
A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Diaz and our custodial team for their outstanding work! During our central-office campus walk, their dedication to maintaining a safe, organized, and welcoming learning environment was evident and deeply appreciated.
❤️ A Note of Gratitude
As we approach Thanksgiving, let’s carry a spirit of gratitude for one another, for our students, families, teachers, those in great need, and for the meaningful work we do daily.
I am proud beyond words of the effort, energy, and culture of excellence . Remember — even a 1° change in effort can make all the difference. Together, we continue to live our vision of Barron Elementary — where Pioneers learn and belong.
