Faithful Foundations
Monthly Newsletter

๐ October is Here at Faithful Foundations! ๐
At Faithful Foundations, we believe that learning doesnโt just happen in the classroom โ itโs woven into every experience our students have. Whether exploring new ideas, celebrating together, or building healthy routines, each moment is an opportunity for growth.
October is shaping up to be one of our busiest and most exciting months yet! From special visitors and fall traditions to field trips and family events, our days will be filled with opportunities to learn, connect, and celebrate the season.
๐ To keep track of all the details, please make sure to check out our calendar at www.faithfulfoundations.org/calendar for specific dates and times of events.
Thank you for the privilege of teaching your children โ it is truly a joy to be part of their growth and learning each day. Together, weโre making this October one to remember!
๐ต Tuition & ๐ Snack Reminders
Tuition
Tuition is due on the 1st of each month with a grace period until the 7th.
If you believe your payment may be late, please communicate with us in advance. If we do not hear from you, a $25 late fee will be applied automatically after the grace period.
September only: Since school begins on September 8, the grace period is extended until the first day of school.
If you need to make alternate arrangements, please reach out to Stephanie before the due date.
Monthly Snack Contribution
Families may either pay the $5 monthly snack contribution fee or provide a class snack in rotation.
For families who provide a snack in lieu of the fee, please remember to bring your assigned snack by the first of the month.
Use the check-off sheet by your classroom door to indicate that you have brought your snack.
Thank you for helping us keep classrooms running smoothly and well-stocked!
๐ Healthy Snack Initiative
In September we introduced a new Healthy Snack Wednesday/Thursday Initiative to encourage nutritious choices for our students. On these days, classes will substitute the usual bulk snack with a healthy fruit or vegetable option.Students will still receive their individual snack of choice each day, but the bulk snack will always be a healthy option on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
- Examples of healthy bulk snacks include apple slices, grapes, cutie clementines, bananas, baby carrots, or cucumbers.
Parents are welcome to assist by donating a healthy snack, but participation is completely optional. If youโd like to help, the sign-up sheet is located at the front table by the check-in iPads. Please provide enough for 31 students and send items ready-to-serve in resealable (Ziploc-style) bags so they can be easily divided between classes.
If no parent has signed up for a particular day, the school will provide the healthy snack so our students never go without.
Thank you for supporting this effort and helping us build healthy habits together!
๐ Immunization Paperwork Reminder
- If you are claiming a medical or non-medical exemption from state-required immunizations, please be sure to turn that paperwork in by October 1.
- If you have any questions about what is required, or need to get a copy of the required paperwork, please reach out to Tim or Stephanie.
- Thank you for helping us stay compliant with Oregon state requirements and supporting a healthy school community! โค๏ธ

We are excited to welcome Young Kidz Dental to Faithful Foundations on October 8th and 9th as our special guest speaker!
Representatives from Young Kidz Dental will spend time with our students sharing fun, age-appropriate lessons about the importance of healthy teeth and good dental habits. Theyโll talk with the children about how to take care of their smiles and answer questions in a way that makes learning about dental health exciting and easy to understand.
In addition to the presentation, the team will be bringing along a few special surprises for the kids to enjoy!
This will be a wonderful opportunity for our students to learn about caring for their teeth while having fun at the same time. ๐ชฅโจ
