A Message from the Principal:

Dear Parents,

I am proud to announce that we have had a very successful start to our school year. I am honored to welcome back the most amazing staff any principal could ask for, as well as add some new enthusiastic personnel...they are truly THE BEST! Students have been doing a great job following routines and procedures around the school and classroom. We are happy to welcome so many new families joining our Rayburn Community! Thank you for your trust in us to educate and care for your child.

We will be completing the beginning of the year assessments in all grade levels and this information will be shared with parents very soon. Our campus leadership team has been analyzing the data and are working with teachers to put a strong action plan in place to address any areas of weakness. We will then continue to assess students and monitor their progress through small group targeted learning sessions and possibly after school tutoring. Please know that teachers are creating prescriptive lessons to assist your child in meeting learning goals.

Our Rayburn PTO is excited to kick off the school year strong with parent and community involvement. Please review the flyers below for more information. PTO assists with many improvements to our school with funds raised as well as pay for many student activities/incentives.

Please stay attentive to our district and campus emails and posts. Please make plans to attend Curriculum Night on Sept. 23rd. Please know that we are here to support your child any way we can and we look forward to a successful school year.
