Coupeville Schools Care!
Bringing Support to Our Community!
We Need Your Help!
Dear Families and Community Members,
I am reaching out to you today with an urgent request for our neighbors who are facing unexpected hardship.
In our community, some families are experiencing reduced income and food assistance. These circumstances have created immediate food insecurity for many of our neighbors—including families with children in our schools.
We have an opportunity to come together and make a real difference.
Our district is organizing a community food drive to support these families during this difficult time. We are collecting non-perishable food items and essential groceries to help ensure that no family in our community goes without adequate nutrition while they navigate this crisis.
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
• Donate non-perishable food items
• Drop off perishable food items
• Sponsor a meal box for a family in need
MOST NEEDED ITEMS:
• Canned vegetables, beans & soup
• Rice, pasta & cereal
• Shelf-stable milk & baby formula
• Peanut butter & canned protein
• Cooking oil & spices
DROP OFF LOCATION:
District Office
501 South Main
Coupeville, WA
Hours: M-F/7:30AM-4:00PM
Our strength as a community is measured not just in good times, but in how we support one another when challenges arise. Every contribution matters and will directly help a family in need.
Together, we can put food on the table for families who need it most.
Thank you for your generosity and compassion.
Sincerely,
Shannon Leatherwood, Superintendent
