9th Grade Meet Your Counselor Lessons: Counselors will be meeting with 9th graders during their PE period in the upcoming months to introduce themselves and provide the students with information on how to set up an appointment with their counselor, as well as learn what their counselors are here to support with.
PSAT: The Practice SAT test will be held in October. Space is limited and restricted to Sophomores and Juniors only. The test will be $25.00, which can be paid at the LHHS Bookstore. PAYING FOR POST SECONDARY INSTITUTION:
Seniors (and their parents) will want to complete the FAFSA: Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Our goal is to assist those students/parents in the completion of the application and will offer time in the seniors’ school day to address this.
FAFSA lesson (seniors): FAFSA lessons will be held during the Winter season once the 2026-2027 FAFSA application is open. The application will typically open in the month of October. We will also offer a Parent FAFSA Workshop in the evening in December to assist in the completion of FAFSA. More details to follow.
Parents are always welcome to visit the Career Center.
BE INVOLVED
Parents: are encouraged to have a conversation with their children about high school, future plans, ECAP lessons, and Major Clarity. Future planning is critical to ensure that students meet graduation requirements, have knowledge about programs of study and are able to pursue their post-secondary goals. Your involvement is extremely important!
HOW IS MY CHILD DOING ACADEMICALLY?
SYNERGY: Students and parents should log into StudentVue/ParentVue on a regular basis. If you need assistance, contact or visit the Main Office.
