Mock Interviews
Each Legacy Campus student will participate in a mock interview with an industry expert throughout the month of February. Career & Hiring Fair
On behalf of the Douglas County School District’s Legacy Campus and Arapahoe/Douglas Works, we are excited to invite you to participate in our first annual Career and Hiring Fair on Friday, February 28, 2025. Our goal is to equip the local community with a talented workforce while providing students with a competitive edge. Click HERE for all the details!
Click the photo above if you work in one of these industries and would like to host a free table at the event!
Weather Reminders
Given the recent weather conditions, we've received inquiries from students and families who are unclear about our schedule, whether we're delayed, canceled, remote, etc. This confusion arises because our college partners have their own weather protocols and notify Legacy students of their decisions. As a reminder, Legacy Campus will always follow the DCSD weather delays/closures which may differ from our college partners.
ACC has recently updated their messaging to make the weather-related communication more clear for Legacy students. To the right is the message students will now see when ACC is adjusting due to weather. The students will receive a text asking them to click on a link, and the message below will appear.

Legacy Campus Phase II Updates
With the successful passing of the 2024 Bond for Douglas County Schools (5A) in November, the Legacy Campus team immediately began collaborating with architects, contractors, the DCSD Construction office, and the Operations and Maintenance Team to advance Phase II from conceptual designs to detailed Design Drawings.
This exciting expansion will introduce new, industry-aligned programming, including:
- Advanced Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering
- EV/Hybrid Automotive Service Technician Training
- Construction Trades Pathways, featuring Carpentry, Plumbing, HVAC, and a Pre-Apprenticeship Electrician Program
We are working closely with postsecondary institutions and industry partners to ensure these programs equip students with the skills and certifications needed for high-demand careers. As we move forward in the design and construction process, we look forward to keeping our community informed every step of the way. Stay tuned for more updates!
