You make a difference by helping your child create habits. Daily and puntual attendance DOES matter

When a student has missed twenty days of school (or the same number of hours), no matter if the absences are excused or not, the district shall offer services to address barriers to that student’s attendance and MAY report to the county attorney.

School Cash Online

We can now accept online payments from families through SchoolCash Online.

SchoolCash Online reduces cash and check payments to our school and lets families:

  • Pay for iPad insurance
  • Keep track of their students’ school items and activity fees
  • Check their account history
  • View and print receipts
  • Pay for school fees with a simple click

Primary guardians received an invitation email from SchoolCash Online in late July with a link to register and connect their student(s) to their profile. Families can also create an account by visiting our district’s SchoolCash Online page using the same email address used for Campus Parent.

Once the primary guardian has created an account, they can provide access to other caregivers of their choice.

After you have signed up, you will receive notifications of upcoming events and items involving your student, including field trips, yearbooks, spirit wear, athletic fees and more.

Questions? See the Parent Help Desk for SchoolCash Online FAQ for additional details and troubleshooting information, or contact our office for assistance.

Cell Phone and Electronic Device Reminder (now OPS Policy and NE LB 140)

Research shows that using cell phones and social media can hurt students' mental health and make it hard to focus in school. Because of this, students are not allowed to use cell phones or other personal electronic devices (PEDs) during the school day.

Students must turn in their cell phones to their teacher at the start of the day. Phones will be returned at dismissal.

If a student is seen using a phone or device during the day, they will be asked to turn it in. It will be kept in the front office and the student can pick it up at the end of the day.

If this keeps happening, a parent or guardian will need to come pick up the device.

Entry and Dismissal Safety Entry and Dismissal Safety

We want to ensure that everyone arrives and leaves school safely. Because our school is located in a busy urban area, we ask for your support in following the safety guidelines below during arrival and dismissal. Together, we can model safe behavior and keep all students protected.

Please take a moment to review these important reminders:

  1. Always use the crosswalks to cross the street. Avoid crossing in the middle of the road—even if it means a few extra steps. It only takes a couple more minutes, but it makes a big difference in safety.

  2. Drop off students from the right-hand side of the car, closest to the sidewalk, to avoid having children step into traffic.

  3. Kindergarten through 6th grade students should enter through the front doors of the school. Families should drop off students at the front entrance, where students will walk into the building and be guided by staff inside.
  4. Please do not drop off students before 8:30 AM. Staff supervision begins at that time, and we want to ensure all children are safely monitored.
  5. 🆕🌟⭐ NEW!!! Students arriving at 9:00 a.m. or later must be signed in at the office by an adult.🆕🌟⭐
  6. Be respectful to staff assisting with traffic and safety. They are out there every day to make sure your children are safe and cared for.

  7. Dismissal takes a little time, but we ask for your patience as we work to ensure every student gets to the right place safely.

We thank you for your partnership and cooperation. Your care and support help create a safe and welcoming environment for all.
