Lewisville ISD has shared resources for families about Savvas enVision+ Math High-Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM). Families can visit the LISD Secondary Math Website to learn more about the HQIM vetting process, view course overviews, and find resources for setting up a parent observer account in Canvas.

CISNT at Huffines Middle School is hosting a session for students about social skills once a month during lunch time. If you do not want your student to participate in this session, please email Michelle Bowersox at Bowersoxm@lisd.net.

In partnership with the Lewisville Public Library, there will be several upcoming, family-friendly events available to students and their families. There will be special programming for Hispanic Heritage Month on:

• October 6 at 6p

• November 3 at 6p

🌟 Featured Highlight: Leche y Galletas

Leche y Galletas is a special bilingual family storytime celebrating culture, community, and literacy! Families can enjoy stories, songs, and tasty treats together.

Whether a parent, family member, educator, or community member, your PTA membership will impact the lives of our Huskies. Thank you for helping ensure every child has a representative voice, join PTA. Search "J.L. Huffines Middle School PTA"

Families attending LISD high school games, athletic competitions, and special events should be aware of the following:

• All middle school students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Students who arrive without a parent/guardian will not be permitted to enter.
• Backpacks and school bags are not allowed and cannot be stored at the event.
• LISD's Clear Bag Policy applies to all spectators.
• All spectators are subject to the Weapons Detection System upon entry.

Please review the Weapons Detection System informational video before attending an event.

Help us celebrate the amazing staff members who make a difference at Huffines! LISD’s Recognize SomeONE program gives students, families, staff, and community members the opportunity to recognize an employee for exceptional service and support.

Your recognition helps our staff know their work is seen, valued, and appreciated.

For campus and student safety, students may not receive food deliveries from Grubhub, Uber Eats, DoorDash, or other third-party delivery services. If food needs to be brought to campus for a student, it must be delivered by a family member or guardian. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and secure campus.
